I was in the middle of my first lathe project and realized I had no way to turn the bottom of my bowl. I came up with this rubber jam chuck which should fit most bowls of a similar size. I will probably make a few more of different sizes as needed in the future.
Just a quick tip for creating even offsets for patterns and templates. Especially useful for oddly shaped curves.
When I released my recent leatherworking video I mentioned that I had mad a lot of mistakes, but since the video was in pretty high speed is wasn’t very clear what they were. I thought I would highlight my mess up’s so other people can learn from my mistakes.
